The mechanism of separation of tubular part blanks is considered at magnetic-impulse loading. The kinematics of separation process is researched at different conditions of loading and relations of geometrical parameters of part blank, inductor, matrix. With taking into consideration of metallography researches the model of behaviour of metal in the center of a strain is offered, which one allows is justified to control the process with the purpose of reaching demanded quality of details.
