The description of a prototype and design of mechanical part of small-sized galvanic unit for formation protective chromium-diamond coating on worn-out sites of drills made of quick cutting steel is provided. The new device allows to increase firmness of cutting edges of the tool on the most power effective modes, without rendering harm to environment and doesn't assume qualification existence in the field of electrochemical technologies.
