The article discusses the specific features of a small school, grade, and complete grade of a small school which affect the design and implementation of the pedagogical process. The content of the pedagogical process is presented in the unity of the educational process and the learning process. The central issue examined in the article is the justified choice of a version of the educational process focused on creating the prerequisites for the formation, establishment, and development of the student’s personality. The novelty of the article is that the basic concepts behind the terms were shaped as the result of a feedback study.
