The article considers the insignificance from theoretical and practical points of view. It analyses the court practice of application of insignificance during consideration and resolution the cases dealing with the administrative offences. It proposes to clarify the concept of «insignificance» given in article 2.9 of the Administrative Offences Code of the Russian Federation.
