Small business as a tool to ensure population employment in Uzbekistan

By researching small business as the most important structure-forming and science-intensive sector of current global economy, its potential in competitive environment and flexibility towards changes in market situation the author gave more precise definition to economic and social functions of private entrepreneurship. The article investigates economic policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in respect of priority development of small business and entrepreneurship as an engine in resolving the crisis problems of the former planned-distributional system.
