Symptomatic characterization of adrenal masses as per data of medical aid appealability in the Republic of Uzbekistan

The work was initiated to study clinical manifestations and their peculiarities in adrenal masses. Data on 282 patients, 169 women (59.9%) and 113 (40.1%) men among them, with adrenal masses were analyzed. Age of the patients ranged from 4 months to 74 years, mean age was 39.8±15.7 years. To achieve the aim, we examined symptoms, complaints, association of the disease with anything, personal and family medical history, including risk factors, clinical and laboratory signs of hormonal activity and damages of target organs, such as the heart, the eyes and the kidneys. The variety of clinical symptoms accompanied adrenal masses, including arterial hypertension (occurring in 52.5%), delayed immediate diagnosis, as the most patients previously sought for medical help of various specialists, while only 18.8% of them were referred to an endocrinologist primarily.
