Manipulation of consciousness through the mass media in regional elections

The impact technologies on the electoral behavior in the official mass media have been analysed as exemplified by the Yaroslavl Mayoral electioneering held on March 2, 2008. The content analysis of the materials of the regional mass media has been made based on the references, themes and information colouring about the candidates as well as comparative analysis of the election results and informational activity of the candidates.
