This article discusses some of the psychological aspects of victims of crimes and other offenses. The relevance of the study of the psychological aspects of the victims of crimes is due, on the one hand, to the increase in the number of crimes based on the socalled psychology of the victim (that is, persons exposed to violence, deception and other illegal actions). In addition to the use of the latest information technologies, which had no previous analogues, more and more often the perpetrators themselves take into account the internal psychological aspects of the psychological impact (both obvious and hidden) on people becoming victims, their psychological weakness, which attracts and facilitates the commission of a crime. Every year more and more sophisticated psychological techniques of manipulative infuence of criminals on the consciousness and subconsciousness of the victims are used; The annual growth of people whose behavior initially corresponds to the “psychology of the victim” is noted. The example of Mavrodi and the notorious money pyramid, which, despite all its common knowledge, has managed to fnd its adherents, ready victims of an obvious deception, is indicative. An increasing number of people annually get involved in the criminal business, go to acts of terrorism, hung with explosives, become victims of many crimes even before they are carried out. The problems of manipulation and the psychology of the victims of this manipulation are set out rather deeply in the works of researchers of various sciences in the works of G. V. Gracheva, Yu. A. Ermakova, G. A. Kovaleva, I. K. Melnik, O. M. Tsvetkova, A. I. Boytsova, V. P. Laricheva, I. Ya. Foinitsky, A. I. Gurova, V. N. Limonov, A. L. Sitkovsky, Yu. M. Antonyana, S. N. Enikolopova, L. P. Konysheva, A. N. Shepherd, A. R. Ratinova, H. A. Ratinova, A. M. Stolyarenko, V. I. Chernenilov et al. The object of research in this article: the manipulation of the minds and behavior of the victims, as well as the analysis of the mechanisms and techniques to help avoid this negative psychological impact, to resist this impact, having formed a psychological resistance to this kind of effects.
