The forest is not only the most productive natural complex and important economic resources of Russia, but also the main factor in regulating and stabilizing the environment. Complete inspections of forest industry in the Russian regions regularly reveal a full bouquet of forest violations. A creation of the environmentally sustainable (balancing) economy creates new requirements for forestry development. An implementation of economic activity in sectors of forestry environmental management should be aimed primarily at the maximum preservation of its biological productivity.
