Marxism and marginalism: neo-Marxist synthesis -methodological basis for the establishment of a new development model of economic system

Бесплатный доступ

The article examines two main areas: marginalism and Marxism. Marginalism is viewed as a theoretical model of the modern Western economy. Marxism is observed as a methodological basis of the socialist system. The origins seem one-sided and opposed to the basic foundations of these theories: capitalism is dominated by the bourgeoisie, socialism is dominated by bureaucracy. The individual private property of an individual capitalist prevails in capitalism, common ownership of bureaucrats as a collective being prevails in socialism. We have market in capitalism and plan in socialism. In conclusion, the necessity of overcoming Marxism and marginalism one-sidedness and the development of more universal theories as "neo-Marxist synthesis” are justified.
