The article examines the theme of anthropology masks in modern cinema. Masks death in the feature film "Treason" by Kirill Serebrennikov and "Gone" by Yojiro Takita serve as a kind of semiotic cultural images for comprehension. The problem of perception of time shifts in art, including mortal sins and a violation of the commandments of some characters and spiritual revival of the other characters.
