Master Plan as an instrument of long-term planning and progressive development of the Russian Federation regions

The article is focused on analysis of mechanism master plan being used in Russia as an instrument of long-term planning and complex development of Russian cities and regions. Possibility of long-term planning is a key factor of investment attractiveness of investment construction sphere. Formulation of maser plans which reflect data base about land resources, real estate assets and economic potential of the territories nowadays takes fundamental role in a system of spatial development governance in the Russian Federation.
