Mathematical model of recovery man-made wasteland

Human economic activity is accompanied by a change in the environmental situation in the area of large industrial centers. One of the tasks of mathematical modeling is the search for rational options for ecosystem restoration after the removal of anthropogenic load. The paper develops a mathematical model of the "overgrowth" of a man-made wasteland by vegetation, represented by the initial boundary value problem for the transfer equation. The linear velocity of vegetation propagation is estimated. A probabilistic distribution of vegetation coverage is given. The mathematical model is based on partial differential equations.
