The article deals with axiological, ontological and praxiological components of professional mathematical activity and their functional and methodological characteristics in the conditions of implementation of competent and objective professional mathematical training of students of educational institutions of higher education. The study is based on the example of the course «Mathematical Analysis», that is one of the main basic disciplines of vocational training of students of the educational program 01.03.01 Mathematics.
