The paper discusses a set of mathematical models required to formalize the parametric synthesis problem for the Power-and-Propulsion Unit of the Transportation and Maintenance System for a satellite constellation. It provides a classification of these models and some of their most representative examples. The use of these models makes it possible to formalize and solve the optimization problem for the design variables of the Transportation and Maintenance System Power & Propulsion Unit.
