Math simulation of multipurpose laboratory module power balance during free flight

Бесплатный доступ

The paper provides a description of three math simulation modules from the software package for power balance analysis designed to solve the problem of spacecraft power balance prediction. The software package was used to analyze the power balance for the Multi-purpose Laboratory Module during its free flight. The software package consists of four modules. The input data module is a relational database, which includes a description of onboard systems, consisting of devices and assemblies, consuming electric power, and their operational timelines. The other three modules are a math model to determine the parameters that are required for the computation: trajectory, onboard systems power consumption, power input from solar arrays taking into account the changing attitude of the vehicle and the level of the electric charge in the storage batteries for the multi-purpose laboratory module during pre-launch processing, orbital insertion, free flight, approach and docking.
