Бесплатный доступ

To date, the theory of causality is one of the foundations for improving the quality of scientific researches in the development of forensic characteristics and crime prevention. The possibilities of mathematical modeling as a method for studying social processes should be considered in the context of identifying correlations and other connections between elements of the forensic characteristics, which in this vein can give impetus to the development of the relevant sectoral prevention. Purpose: to determine the prospects for the use of mathematical modeling in increasing the informativeness and effectiveness of forensic characteristics. Methods: empirical methods are used: analysis and synthesis, comparison, ascent from abstract to concrete, description; special methods: systemic interdisciplinary approach, logical-legal, comparative-legal. Results: the theory of causality is shown from the standpoint of essential phenomena, processes and facts. Forensic characteristics at the level of correlations of its elements and forensic prevention can become more popular in practice if they are based on the methods of mathematical modeling.
