To increase the wear resistance of Lancet paws cultivators developed a method of surfacing individual wear-resistant rollers on their working surfaces, the width of which is less than the distance between them. When plowing lancet paws, reinforced this method on the surface formed stagnant zones of soil in which there is a further movement of the particles. It is revealed that the greatest effect is achieved when surfacing on the working surface of the lancet paws of the rollers in the form of arcs. On the basis of the VSAC VIM, type 4D numerically controlled (CNC) machine for surfacing (with four degrees of freedom) has been developed, which makes it possible to strengthen lancet paws in automatic mode by this method. For the deposition of rollers with the required geometric parameters, a control program for the CNC installation is compiled, which is a G-code and surfacing modes are set. The current and voltage correspond to the recommendations of the welding wire manufacturer. To ensure the required height of the rollers, mathematical modeling was performed and a relationship was found between the width and height of the deposited rollers, the wire feed speed and the speed of the welding torch. The response surface and its contours are constructed for visual interpretation of the dependence.
