Mathematical modelling of wind loading on portal cranes' moving mechanism

The design model of portal crane loading accounting wind loading has been worked out. The analytical model of the crane with cargo as a material system with six degrees of freedom has been represented in integrated rectangular and cylinder coordinate systems. The mathematical model of portal cranes' operating regime accounting the motion mechanism has been proposed. Results of blowdown of a portal crane with a direct boom in a wind channel have been shown. Main results of modelling of portal crane (with a direct boom) operation at wind accounting the motion mechanism have been given.
