Materials pertaining Kirillo-Chelmogorsky monastery's history (the work of priest F. I. Gur’ev, XIX century)

A little-known work compiled by Kargopol clergyman F. I. Gur’ev in 1840-1850 is researched and published. It is dedicated to the history of Olonets Kirillo-Chelmogorsky monastery. Preserved in two manuscripts, the work will be instrumental in the research and study of the local clergy activities. The source contains a number of unknown facts from the history of the monastery and its parish, which was organized on its territory and functioned in the XVI-XIX centuries. The names of the abbots are listed, and valuable information on churches, icons, books, monastic charters, and the worship of St. Cyril of Chelmogora is provided.
