The article represents the review of the main descriptions and even mentions on the Qin Shihuandi's Tomb, given in the different kinds of written sources of Ancient and Medieval China (such as "Shi ji", "Han shu", "Han jiu yi" etc.). Materials from the large-scale excavations that were begun from the 70th of the last century give us the opportunity of mutual correlation of two classes of historical sources. It confirms, on the one hand, the high reliability of the Chinese annals, and on the other hand, considerably improves the recovery of data from archaeological objects.
