Mediation and mediative approach in advocacy activity

The article is devoted to the study of the role of mediation and a mediative approach in advocacy. Based on a comprehensive analysis of the provisions of regulatory acts and legal literature, it was concluded that mediation as an alternative way to resolve conflict situations should be more often used in Russia. In order to save time and reduce costs, the lawyer must necessarily recommend that the party use the mediation procedure in the event of an objective possibility of resolving the dispute by making a compromise decision.
