Mediation as an alternative method of resolving disputes - problems and prospects

The article describes the main problems of development of Institute of mediation: low awareness of citizens about this procedure, mediators distrust and skepticism about him, low competence of the mediator. Mediation is a relatively new method of dispute resolution, but still shows its effectiveness and attractiveness at the present time, while the courts are overburdened with the work on dispute resolution. Mediation is an accelerated process and a mediation agreement has the same force of a court decision.
