The article deals with some aspects of medialinguistics, theory of journalism and communicology border lines connected with media texts object and essence. The common ground of these sciences is predetermined by media texts scrutiny, especially connected with other types of texts. Cognitive-pragmatic intentions of authors are stressed while analyzing stylistics of public non-fiction writings. The conclusions are drawn about combining achievements of the theory of journalism, communicology and media linguistics for the sake of creating meta-theory of media text and discourse analysis.
