Panchenko Introduction: Modern medicine pays particular attention to the age-related deficit of androgens. Age androgen deficiency (AAD), or testosterone deficiency syndrome, is a syndrome caused by the relative or absolute lack of the amount or the action of testosterone (T), manifested by a violation of reproductive and copulatory functions, lipid and carbohydrate metabolism, bone metabolism, and psychosomatic and social behavior. Purpose. The purpose of this study was to develop a new technology for medical rehabilitation of patients with age-related androgen deficiency in a specialized urological center with the use of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and infrared exposure. Materials and methods. In the conditions of Stavropol Territory, the Regional Clinical Specialized Uroandrology Center conducted observations of 60 patients with АAD. The study was conducted in compliance with the ethical principles of scientific medical research with human participation. Criteria for inclusion: a decrease in testosterone in the blood serum, age from 45 to 65 years. Results and discussion. After the rehabilitation activities under the influence of the above mentioned therapeutic complexes, a clear advantage of the frequency of improvement in clinical indices was noted. Conclusions. The authors developed a new technology for medical rehabilitation of patients with age-related androgen deficiency in the conditions of a specialized urological center with the use of hormone replacement therapy and infrared exposure in an infrared cabin. It is shown that this appointment of therapeutic factors contributes to the restoration of normal testosterone levels in the men observed, leveling the clinical symptoms of the disease, a significant improvement in peroxid homeostasis, psychoemotional state and quality of life.
