Medical care for children in the Kuibyshev region during the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945)

The author discusses the issues of medical care for children in wartime conditions. She describes the main directions of the activities of health care institutions, party and state bodies for the protection of children’s health, examines the activity of scientific medical institutions and medical scientists during the war period. The article contains the analysis of the main methods and forms of combating infectious diseases and a set of measures to improve the health of children.
