Medical and social characteristics of primary disability due to malignant neoplasms in the Kyrgyz Republic

One of the key indicators of population health, along with mortality and morbidity, is primary disability. In Kyrgyzstan, malignant neoplasms in the causes of disability of the population occupy stable leading rating positions, second only to diseases of the cardiovascular system and injuries. The analysis of the main indicators of primary disability among people over 18 years of age in the Kyrgyz Republic for the period from 2013 to 2021. showed an increase in the number of people with primary disability due to malignant neoplasms from 1155 to 1459 people, with an increase rate of 26.3%. The level of primary disability due to malignancies is marked by resistance during the study period, with a slight decrease in 2020 to 2.7 per 10,000 adults, which is associated with the response to the COVID situation of the health and social security systems. Women account for a larger half of those primarily recognized as disabled, with a 24.32% increase in the proportion by sex in 2021, compared to 2013. The largest number of women was noted in 2017 - 74.8% of the year among people from 30 to 44 years old. Among the age groups 18-29 years old, 30-44 years old, 45 - retirement age (women under 58 years old, men under 63 years old), persons of retirement age - respectively women over 58 years old, men over 63 years old, it was established that people from 45 years old and up to retirement age are most often recognized as persons with disabilities. There was an increase in persons with disabilities of II group.
