Medical and social features and dynamics of life quality indicators at citizens during formation the pulmonary diseases in the territories with ecological risk

It is carried out screening questioning among representative selection (3032 residents of St. Petersburg) for detection the risk factors of main types of activity, existence of respiratory symptoms and pulmonary diseases (PD). At the following stage research among 369 people, hospitalized in specialized pulmonary office of a versatile hospital of St. Petersburg for the purpose of studying the quality and efficiency of patient’s treatment with chronic pulmonary diseases was conducted. High specific weight of residents of St. Petersburg with existence the pre-nosological states and respiratory symptoms (34,1%) is revealed. Such adverse risk factors as state of environment, conditions of production activity, accommodation condition, family way of life, insufficient level of medical knowledge, medical and social and preventive activity of citizens, late negotiability behind medical care, existence of associated diseases, etc. have considerable impact on formation of chronic pulmonary pathology and efficiency of patient’s treatment. The analysis of dynamics of life quality indicators changes connected with health testifies that existence of PD at considerable part of citizens (23,1%) promotes deterioration of indicators of physical functioning, social adaptation and ability to self-service, emotional wellbeing, expressiveness of symptoms and painful states. High efficiency of patient’s treatment with chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases in a pulmonary hospital with considerable improvement in dynamics of clinical-functional states and main types of functioning in structure of life quality is shown.
