Бесплатный доступ

The article examines the effect of meditation on neuroplasticity and emotional intelligence. A study conducted by Leonard Sherman found that the practice of meditation can change the structure and function of the brain, leading to stronger connections between neurons and improved memory, attention and problem solving. Sarah Lazar and her colleagues determined that meditation also leads to increased gray matter volume and decreased amygdala volume, which is associated with increased reactivity to stressful situations.
