In the framework of the scientific work of quantum chemistry method is the study of the mechanism of steel corrosion in aggressive aqueous-saline medium caused a 30% ammonium nitrate solution. Presents the simulated semi-empirical method ZINDO/1 the process of adsorption of inorganic ions on the cluster of iron (present in steel in the amount of 97%). In the research process were obtained and analyzed: the composition of the complexes, the charge density on the iron atom resulting complexes, a graph showing the dependence of the charge of the Central ion of the atom of the speed of corrosion.
