Most enterprises in the fishing industry strive to achieve maximum results of their economic activities with a small amount of resources spent. However, some companies, seeking to increase the amount of profit, make ineffective management decisions, which in turn lead to increased costs and losses. Thus, in a dynamically developing external environment, the company needs to react to existing changes as soon as possible and make the necessary adjustments. This article discusses the mechanism for improving the efficiency of economic activity of an enterprise. The mechanism is presented here in the form of an action plan that allows you to make effective management decisions. Thus, the implementation and use of the mechanism is carried out in several stages, compliance with which will allow the company to achieve the planned results. The management of the organization needs to determine the main elements of the mechanism based on the analysis of factors that affect economic activity. In General, the implementation of the mechanism is based on the definition of goals. Before the mechanism is formed, the company's management must determine the purpose for which the mechanism is created, what factors contribute to the effective implementation of the mechanism, as well as predict possible consequences that allow determining the rationality of its creation. The development of the mechanism is based on the results obtained during the analysis of economic activity, which determines which areas of activity have negative trends. Also, when creating it, the company's management must follow certain requirements and rules, compliance with which will create an effective mechanism.
