The article offers methodological recommendations for assessing network effects that are unique to enterprises producing sporting goods and the sports industry as a whole in order to formulate a sustainable development strategy. The assessment of network effects in sporting goods manufacturing enterprises is based on the classification of network effects. Based on the trends of networking, digitalization, and the merger of the sports and entertainment industries, the author proposes a model of a multi-faceted platform for enterprises producing sporting goods as the most innovative option for the development of enterprises producing sporting goods.
