The use of material and technical base of the region

The resource efficiency has a significant impact on the socio-economic situation of the region. The article discusses the problem of loss of industrial potential in the regions. It is shown that the effective use of public resources depends on the level of production and quality control processes of production of material goods. The category "industrial" potential of the region to assess the possibilities of production development is considered. It is shown that the practical solution to the problem of economic growth accelerating, among the other factors, depends on a properly chosen and implemented strategy for managing the industrial potential of the region. The mechanism of the development of the region’s industrial potential is offered in the article. It is built on the principles of the effective use of social and economic resources. The assessment of the needs for modernization of industrial potential in the sector of the processing productions is carried out and failures of the corresponding elements of potential from the average Russian level are revealed. The authors consider the priority directions of the development of the region ’s industrial capacity considering the existing economic and ecological situation in the region’s economy.
