Mechanisms of interlingual paronymy formation in genetically related and different languages

Бесплатный доступ

The article addresses an actual problem of modern linguistics - the identification of the peculiarities of the change and development of the lexical composition of different-structured languages by the example of the study of interlanguage correlative pairs. The semasiological relations between the prototype (a foreign word) and the correlate (the corresponding word in Russian) are considered in a diachronous-synchronous way. Examples are considered in the Russian literary language, as well as in some social dialects (youth slang, criminal vocabulary and the vocabulary of marginal strata of society). A number of general linguistic processes that take place both in the Russian literary language and in the Russian substandard vocabulary are analyzed, some of their differences are considered.
