The article is devoted to defensive behavior manifestations of beginning teachers in the period of adaptation to pedagogical activity in school. Psychological defence of teachers just beginning their teaching career, and teachers, who have experience, is researched. Dominant defences and the comparative analysis of application of defense mechanisms are presented.
