Mechanisms of uncoupling of mitochondrial respiration in the development of streptozotocin-induced diabetes in the background of experimental myocardial infarction

Бесплатный доступ

Mechanisms of uncoupling of oxidative phosphorylation in isolated heart mitochondria of rats with experimental myocardial infarction and streptozotocininduced diabetes was studied. It was found that inhibition of mitochondrial pore and / or adenine nucleotide translocase led to suppression of free respiration of heart mitochondria of rats with separate pathologies and their combination. It was suggested that uncoupling of oxidative phosphorylation in heart mitochondria performs protective role and is implemented with the simultaneous inclusion of at least two mechanisms involving ADP/ATPantiporter and cyclosporinsensitive pore.
