Mechanisms of influence of criminal communities on the socialization of youth

The article discusses the definitions of criminal communities, socialization and social institutions. The forms of participation in criminal communities are described. Signs of social institutions and criminal communities are also presented. The hierarchy of roles in the criminal community is considered. Within the framework of this work, the functions of criminal communities are studied: compensatory, myth-making, stratification, ordering of everyday life, value-normative. The author came to the conclusion that the criminal community belongs to social institutions. Emphasis is placed on the mechanisms of influence of criminal communities on the socialization of youth through the products of mass culture (the film "Ocean's 11 friends" and the TV series "Sharp Visors"). The history of the Columbine School and the main actions in it are highlighted. The definition of Schoolshooting is considered. Such mechanisms of influence of criminal communities on the socialization of young people as the pseudo-romantic worldview of criminal communities, lack of experience and a false idea of adult life are revealed.
