Intonation of punctuation marks (by the material of the German)

The aim of the research was to establish the key to understanding the specifics of the melody of German interrogative sentences, i.e. to establish correspondences between certain rules of pronunciation of different types of questions and the speech of the narrator. The material for the study was the audio version of the novel "Three Comrades" by E.M. Remarque. For the analysis of the melody, the computer program PRAAT was used, representing speech as oscillograms and spectrograms.
