Management in the physical culture and sports industry: theoretical aspect

The article considers and summarizes theoretical approaches to the definition of the concepts of “sports management”, “management in sport”, “sportmanagement”. It is shown that the concept of “sports management” reflects the industry affiliation of management. The whole management system in sports is embedded in the essence of the concept of “sportmanagement”. The definition of “management in sport” is interpreted as a purposeful formation of relations between managers, thereby emphasizing the role and importance of management in the process of forming relations in the physical culture and sports sphere.
