Mentor work in planning teaching, with the emphasis on physical education

The research project of the co-authored paper emphases onto the analysis of relations between mentors and students, following pedagogical practice in both student programmes, related to subject and classroom teaching. The research results have been presented methodologically through a questionnaire, including 15 questions, on a sample of the examinees of both genders (25 + 25), where the results have beenranked and compared. Thus, the assessment of certain spaces have been done, being the research subject. Through the questions the examinees have answered, the special emphasis has been in reconsidering and finding the best way to analyse approach in planning teaching, the one being seen by students. The questions have included knowing of curricula (micro and macro planning, prevention work), and also certain specifics related to the teaching subject- physical education. The aim of the Paper is an insight of students, future teachers, into their further professional work, and the role of a mentor engagement in counselling while performing practice.
