The article analyzes the provisions of Article 76.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which grant the court the right to release the guilty person from criminal liability with the imposition of a court fine. In addition, the criteria, conditions and features of exemption from criminal liability with the imposition of a court fine are considered.
