Places of citizens’ attraction in the urban space by case study of the Krasnogvardeysky district of St. Petersburg

The article deals with the notion of the strategic planning and its relationship with the city governance. The relevance of this study is determined by the need to optimize the management of urban development based on social networks data. This, in turn, will entail the use of new methods in management practice in order to organize government entities’ activities in the context of growing unpredictability and complexity of the external environment. Particular attention is paid to the identification of the key points of attraction of people in the Krasnogvardeysky district.
