Local self-government in the conditions of liberalism

The article is concerned with a liberal type of local self-government, based on the philosophy of nominalism. In the circumstances of liberalism the local self-government has a rigid functioning pseudo-sphere, in which supremacy of the temporal power over the ecclesiastical one ensures implementation of the appropriate legal regulations. The authors carry out a research, which elicits that depending on the specific combination of liberty principles, individualism, social atomism, etc., there may exist a number of the functioning pseudo-spheres of the local self-government bodies.
