Terrain as an element of the operational and combat situation in various climatic conditions

This article outlines some issues related to the tactical properties of the terrain. It shows what processes take place on the ground at different times of the year. Changes in temperature conditions, humidity, precipitation, wind speed and direction can significantly transform the characteristics of the terrain, both in the short and long term, the influence of these variables on the terrain can both facilitate and complicate the fulfillment of the tasks assigned to the unit.
