Local financial institutions (the second half of 19th - early 20th centuries in the Ufa province)

Reforms in the late 1850 s were targeted at building a civil society. The financial system as the main artery of the state was reconstructed in accordance with the Western models, while local traditions remained. The reforms of Alexander II affected the regions, including the Ufa province - local branches of Finance Ministry represented by the state houses successfully implemented the state financial and tax policies.
