Place of functions of the audit of the organization in the composition of quality management standards

The article is devoted to the role of audit in standardizing the organization’s quality management system. A comparative analysis of the structure and composition of the standards ISO 9001.2008 and ISO 9001.2015. The role of audit in the implementation and maintenance of quality systems of socio-economic objects is determined. The tendencies of changes in the structure of quality management standards are highlighted. The advantages of developing quality standards are identified. The requirements for organizations, the continuity of the implemented standards, compatibility with other management systems of the organization, the purpose of the standards are considered. Conclusions are drawn about the main approaches to building quality management standards 9001: 2008 and 9001: 2015.
