The place and role of the government of the Russian Federation in the system of executive authorities

The article is devoted to topical aspects that determine the place and role of the Government of the Russian Federation in the system of executive authorities and directly in the unified system of public power. Separate legal problems related to the understanding of the system of public power are considered, attention is drawn to the presence of certain difficulties in determining the place of the Government of the Russian Federation in this system, in terms of complicating the process of its interaction with other authorities. The author proposes a definition of the system of public power in the context of modern challenges. The article also analyzes the new facets of the relationship between the President of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Russian Federation, due to the results of the constitutional reform in 2020.
