The article reveals the place and role of legal doctrine in the legal system of the Russian Federation, its influence on structure and character of functioning of the Russian law. The author analyzes the specificity of the legal doctrine as a special “scientific” source of law, its interaction with the practice of legislation and enforcement. The special attention is paid to doctrines (military, educational, ecological and others) adopted nowadays in Russia.
