The article deals with the issue of the place of mechanisms of pre-trial settlement of disputes in the domestic legal system in the framework of civil proceedings. The available judicial and pretrial statistics on resolved disputes are presented and analyzed. The analysis of the legal and actual status of pre-trial dispute settlement mechanisms is carried out.
