The place of international private law in the legal system of the Russian Federation

The article examines the issue of determining the approach to understanding the concept and place of private international law in the legal system of the Russian Federation. Various points of view regarding the formation of this branch of law and its content are considered. The relevance of this issue lies in the extensive application of the branch of private international law and its interaction with other legal categories of Russian law. The main problem, which has not yet been solved by scientists, is the separation of private international law into a separate branch of national law, which will subsequently lead to the improvement of Russian legislation and the formation of the most extensive mechanism of legal regulation.
